- Search modules: directory-search with ‘auto-complete’ suggestions / geographical search with dynamic results table
- Base Maps: a number of additional OpenStreetMap-based map styles are made available in a Base Map control panel
- Map tools: a location sensor and map grid overlay is shown, and can be toggled using the Map Tools control panel
- Footprint display: airports grouped into clickable ‘cluster markers’ at wider zoom levels
- Interaction: click airport icons to access location-based information services
- Location services: links to airport information, links to neighbouring airports, Google aerial view
- External services: live RSS query to the BBC for nearest weather station data. Forecast temperatures plotted on an interactive graph
- Advertising services: integration of Google AdWords to provide context-based advertising and a potential revenue source
